Q: How do I know that you have received my order?
A: We will e-mail conformation of your order to you within minutes of it being placed.
Q: Can I place my order over the phone?
A: Yes! Our Sales Line is open Monday - Saturday 9-30am - 5.00pm.
Q: How can I pay for my order?
A: We are pleased to accept Paypal, and we accept payment by Cheque.
Q: How safe are my payment details?
A: Your details are totally safe with Paypal.
Q: How quickly will my order be sent?
A: We will make every effort to send items within the time stated usually less than 28 days. In the unlikely event of an item being out of stock or delayed, we will notify you immediately to ensure that our revised delivery date is acceptable.
Q: What are your delivery charges?
A: Delivery is free on any order over £250.00 in mainland U.K. For orders under this amount, there is a £7.50 charge to cover postage and packing.
Q: How do I make a return?
A: We are sure that you will be delighted with your purchases. However, if your order is faulty and you wish to return an item, please inform us by e-mail or phone within seven days of receipt.
We advise that you send your package by recorded delivery as we can not be held responsible for any items lost or damaged during return to us.
The cost of return will be borne by the customer unless the item is deemed to be faulty by ourselves.
We cannot refund products without the original packaging or products that have been altered in any way.
Q: Can I have my order delivered to a different address?
A: Yes! Just let us know at the time of ordering.
We adhere strictly to the requirements of the UK Data Protection Act 1998.
We collect personal information about you, such as your name, address, phone number and e-mail address in order to process your order. We do not release personal information to other traders or third parties, except to process your order or if your consent is given.
We do not collect or store credit card numbers as these are collected by our Credit Card service, Paypal.
Conditions of Use
These terms and conditions regulate the business relationship between you and us. By using Beautiful Curtains in any way, or by buying from us, you agree to be bound by them.
No person under the age of 18 years may purchase goods.
We may change these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to you are those posted here on Baptismsandchristenings on the day you order Goods. “Goods” refers to any goods we offer for sale on Our Web Site. “Our Web Site” “we” “us” means baptismsandchristenings. “Price” means the price of the Goods plus any delivery charge. “Order” means any order made by you for the supply of Goods by us. “You and yours” means the person who buys or agrees to buy Goods from us.

Goods advertised are subject to availability.
We try hard to represent the true colour of the fabrics on your computer screens, however this is not always possible and large variations can occur.
We recommend all goods should be cleaned according to the care label only.
All descriptions, weights and sizes of Goods are those of the original manufacturers and you may not rely on their accuracy. Accordingly, any such description shall not form part of this agreement.

Return of Goods and Refunds
A binding contract is formed only when you receive confirmation from us that your order has been accepted. This will be confirmed by e-mail usually within 24 hours of receipt of your order (if placed during normal working hours Mon – Fri 9am – 4pm). You may cancel your order only up to this point.
In the unlikely event of your goods being faulty please email us at email@example.com or telephone us on 07805 816629. We will arrange to have the goods collected and either replace or make good the goods at no cost to you. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Any faulty Goods must be brought to our attention immediately upon discovery and in any event a valid claim based on any defect in quality or condition must be made within 7 days from the date of delivery of the goods. Any claim for items missing from your order must be made within 3 days of the delivery date.
You may not reject the goods where the alleged defect or breach of contract is so slight that it would be unreasonable for you to do so.
You will be charged for goods at the time of order. We cannot deliver or start the manufacture of the goods until payment has been received in full as cleared funds. You can pay on-line with all mayor credit cards and debit cards using Paypal secure authorisation system. We will accept cheques drawn on any bank within the UK. Please allow 7 working days for cheques to clear. Please make them payable to:Fledglings and send to 20 Highmoor Park, Wigton Cumbria,CA7 9LZ.

All delivery times are approximate and are subject to stock availability. We endeavour to deliver all goods within 28 days of the date on your order confirmation. We will notify you of any delays on confirmation. If we are not able to supply the goods required for reasons beyond our control we will contact you as soon as possible.
All goods will be delivered to your door by carrier service where a signature will be required. If a delivery is made whilst you are out a card will be left giving details of a local collection point for the goods to be collected by yourself or a number to call to rearrange the delivery of your goods. We are not liable for loss occasioned by delay in delivery arising out of any cause beyond our control.
We may deliver the goods in instalments if the goods are not available at the same time for delivery.

In any claim against us our liability is limited to the value of the goods you have purchased in the contract, which is the subject of the dispute.
In the event of a dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or any contract between you and us, then you agree to attempt to settle the dispute by engaging in good faith with us in a process of mediation before commencing arbitration or litigation.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and only the English courts will decide any disputes.
We use Paypal authorisation system to ensure that all transactions using credit or debit cards are secure and cannot be accessed or used by third parties.
